Working on the musical production of Beauty and the Beast for Centre Stage Inc. was an enchanting experience that allowed me to dive deep into the magical world of this beloved tale. I met with the director to understand their vision and the elements they wanted to emphasize. Beauty and the Beast is a story rich in detail and emotion, so I aimed to reflect that in the program. I crafted a sophisticated and visually appealing layout. Each page was meticulously designed to transport the audience into the enchanted world of the musical.

Designing Captivating Promotional Materials

With the program well underway, my next task was to create the advertising materials, including banners, flyers, social media posts, and videos, to generate excitement and anticipation for the production.

  • Banners and Flyers: For the banners and flyers, I used a mix of rich colors and elegant designs to reflect the timeless beauty of the tale. Key details about the show dates, venue, and ticket information were prominently displayed. Consistency was key, so the design elements were carefully matched across all materials, creating a unified and recognizable look.
  • Social Media Posts and Videos: Social media played a pivotal role in our promotional strategy. I created a series of captivating posts, including character introductions, rehearsal sneak peeks, and countdown graphics. Additionally, I produced short teaser videos featuring highlights from rehearsals and behind-the-scenes moments, designed to engage and entice the audience. We also ran targeted ads to reach families, theater enthusiasts, and the local community.
